Little Miss Sunshine

Also known as Little Miss Tiny, Miss Sunshine likes very much to make people around her happy and smiley. She used to frown a lot though.. perhaps still so, but as the years go by, smiles have earned their priority over frowns. :) She currently resides in Nottingham, in a little town called Beeston. But home is forever where her family and closest friends are, in the little island called Singapore!

Ironically, there is light at the end of the day... for which I'm so thankful!

Feeling stressed and frustrated throughout the day over a lab journal that was written in greek, not a language meant to be understood by ME in this lifetime. Almost pulling my hair out trying to decipher the technicalities of the Dimensional Overlap Model which was used to account for the Stimulus-Response Compatibility, like What?!

But seriously... I felt pretty terrible about not being able to understand work that i deem important. Felt the stress creeping up again, wanted to shoo it away but quite in vain for awhile.

So i went for a walk to a fren's place and back, cooked a good dinner with my house mates, and just simply cast all my worries aside and thought about meaningful things.

"Where the will of God leads you, the grace of God will keep you." A precious moment wallet sized card tugged at me, and reading it placed a certain peace in me. That was given to me from Zing in j1, sometime when things weren't going too well. Till now, it's still safely tucked in my wallet, reminding me about what I've been through, where i got my strength from, and my core beliefs.

A surprise phone call later at night brightened up the end of today like stars brightening up the night sky:) Heehee don't get me wrong, there's nothing of gossip content, but just hearing an old fren's voice from so far away really really does wonders! Merci :)

And to think that another fren in london was pulling his hair out over stuff that were not supposed to be in the exam syllabus?! I too, managed to convince myself that the journal in the morning is really written in greek, not meant to be understood. We were on the same boat without realizing it! Sometimes when you're feelin kind of low, having companions in that same boat does help a bit. It's all about relativity; sad, but true.

So i want to believe, "Where the will of God leads you, the grace of God will keep you."
